Objectives of the DVD (Old technology)

• To preserve knowledge about essential audiovisual technology.
• To create training materials so this knowledge of the operation of early audiovisual machines can be passed on to new technicians.
• Produce a series of DVDs of actual equipment operation: recordings of the interviewed experts, demonstrating key points.
• Locate and interview acknowledged experts in old formats and equipment, videotaping the interviews, and editing for production of DVD versions.
